How do I order a custom pet portrait?
Choose your style, format and size on our order page, upload a clear photo of your pet and add any notes. We follow up within 24 hours and send you a digital proof within 48 hours, before anything is printed.
What happens after I order?
We contact you within 24 hours from hello@heyfidostudio.com to go over the details. Within 48 hours you receive a digital proof of your portrait to approve.
Will I see my portrait before it is printed?
Yes. You receive a digital proof within 48 hours, and we only print once you love it.
Can I request changes?
Yes, and changes are free. Just reply to your proof email with what you would like adjusted and we will update it until you love it.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, well-lit photo at your pet's eye level with their face in focus. Natural daylight is best. We will let you know if we need a different photo.
Can you include more than one pet?
Yes. Choose the number of pets when you order and upload a photo of each one.
What styles do you offer?
Fine art etching, painterly, folk art, fun scenes (like a disco lounge, bubble bath or champagne toast) and memorial portraits.
What sizes and formats are available?
Fine art prints and canvas from 8x10 up to 40x60 inches, unframed or framed in white, black, espresso or natural wood.
What paper and frames do you use?
Portraits are printed on museum-grade matte fine art paper or canvas. Frames are solid wood with shatterproof plexiglass and arrive assembled with hanging hardware.
Do you offer pet memorial portraits?
Yes. Memorial portraits can include a peaceful background you choose, plus your pet's name and dates. We take extra care with these orders.
How long does it take?
We follow up within 24 hours and send your digital proof within 48 hours. Once you approve it, your portrait is printed and shipped. Delivery estimates are shown at checkout.
Do you ship for free?
Yes, shipping is free within the US.
Can I get a digital file instead of a print?
Yes, by custom request. We email your finished file once you approve it.
